How Fyledrop handles your files and data.
What we store
Free uploads are stored on our servers and capped at 10 MB, auto-expiring 30 minutes after upload. Premium uploads are stored at up to 100 MB and kept permanently until you delete them yourself.
Ads
Free accounts see ads. Premium accounts do not.
Malware scanning
Files uploaded by Premium users are scanned for malware before being stored permanently. Free uploads are not scanned.
AI features
Summarize and Ask AI are Premium-only features. When you use them, text extracted from the specific file you selected is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. Files are never processed by AI unless you explicitly use these actions.
Private sharing
Premium users can restrict a share link with a password, a signed link, or a list of allowed emails. Files are not encrypted at rest or in transit beyond standard HTTPS and our storage provider's own security.
Payments
Premium subscriptions (₹30/month) are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card details.
Account deletion
Deleting your account removes all files you own from our storage and database, and cancels any active subscription.
